Indigenas Mexicanos en el Norte

Mazewalli Nation is an organization located in the State of New Mexico. Our members represent the Mesoamerican diaspora that resulted from Spanish colonization efforts, and whose ancestors settled in New Mexico and Southern Colorado. We declare our right to be recognized as indigenous people, and assert our identities as such.

As descendants of Mesoamerican settlers, we hold no claim to ancestral lands within the state of New Mexico, and respect the absolute sovereignty and self-determination of New Mexico’s original indigenous people.
